Merton College seeks a Communications Officer to join its established Development Office at an exciting time in the College?s history ? just 2 years before its 750th Anniversary in 2014.? The post-holder will be responsible for managing the College?s alumni publications, which include the Merton Record, the annual spring newsletter and the donor report, as well as looking after the special 750th Anniversary publishing projects.? The post-holder will also work with the College?s Web Officer on innovative and cost-effective methods of electronic communication.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication and organisational skills, creative ability and a high level of attention to detail and of literacy. He/she should be able to work independently and flexibly as a member of a small team and have excellent IT skills.
